CORNHILL DIRECTOR AND PROCLAMATION TRUST STAFF TEAM LEADER
Since April 2016, Nigel has been Director of the PT Cornhill Training Course and Team Leader of the PT staff. Previously, he was involved in church leadership for over 35 years, most recently in Nottingham. He is enthusiastic to hear the Bible taught well and loves watching its impact in people’s lives. Alongside PT, he is also chair of CrossConnections, a charity that funds Bible training initiatives all over the world, and chair of Music Ministry, that helps church leadership teams and individuals to serve God with the gifts he has given in music. He is the author of two volumes in PT’s Get Preaching series – ‘Preaching the Cross’ and ‘All-Age Services’.
DEPUTY CORNHILL DIRECTOR
Ben joined the team as a full-time Tutor on the Cornhill Course in September 2020, having spent ten years previously in Sheffield teaching on the Fulwood Bible Training and Bible Training Yorkshire courses. He and his wife Catherine were converted together three years into their marriage while doing post-grad studies in Oxford. Since then he has done research in economics, training at Oak Hill College, a curacy at St Helen’s Bishopsgate and further studies at Moore College in Sydney. Ben has written several books including ‘Positive Complementarianism: The Key Biblical Texts’ and ‘Incorporated Servanthood: Commitment and Discipleship in the Gospel of Matthew.’
DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Carrie divides her time between teaching and tutoring the women at Cornhill, and running and speaking at a variety of training workshops and conferences for women in ministry – both here in the UK and overseas. She is also involved in the women’s ministry at St John’s, Tunbridge Wells.
DIRECTOR FOR INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY
Neil has been involved in cross-cultural preaching training in his role as Director for International Ministry since 2015. After working as an architect for eleven years, he trained for ministry at Cornhill, then Oak Hill College. He is part of the preaching team at St Mary’s, Maidenhead and has previously worked in Singapore.
Stephen is a part-time tutor at Cornhill and part-time associate vicar at St John’s, Tunbridge Wells. He previously worked as a full-time tutor at Cornhill for a number of years and before that as a curate and youth worker at St John’s, Tunbridge Wells.
Gwilym is a part-time Tutor on the Cornhill Training Course, spending the rest of his time at St Helen’s Bishopsgate, training ministry associates and working with international students.
Before starting work at the Proclamation Trust in 2017, Gwilym was involved in Bible training and student ministry in Singapore. He is the author of ‘Get Preaching: Application’.
Luke is a part-time tutor at Cornhill, having spent seven years in Chile teaching at the Centre for Pastoral Studies, an Anglican training centre in Santiago. Luke was a teacher before training for ordination at Oak Hill College and serving as a curate in Banbury.
Al is a full-time tutor at Cornhill, having previously worked at St. Andrew’s Church in Hong Kong for 5 years as an associate pastor. Al grew up in South Africa, and worked as an engineer, including a year in the United Arab Emirates, before moving to full time ministry work.
Andrew is a part-time tutor at Cornhill and co-pastor of Grace Church Greenwich. Having originally trained as a doctor, Andrew went on to study at Cornhill and subsequently Oak Hill College and Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia.
Tom is an associate tutor at Cornhill, helping to run teaching practice groups, including the F2i Online Mandarin Stream alongside being a Cornhill Plus student two days a week.
He also continues to be involved with the Mandarin Ministry team at St Helen’s Bishopsgate. His long-term desire is to train more Mandarin speakers in expository Bible teaching ministry.
Andrew is a part-time Tutor on the Cornhill Training Course and also pastor of Grace Church Greenwich. He has co-authored several books including ‘Dig Deeper’ and ‘Are you 100% sure you want to be an agnostic?’
