Cornhill Summer School & Cornhill Book in a Day

Cornhill Summer School

If you’re not sure if Cornhill is for you or if you’re not able to commit to a full year, you might like to consider the Cornhill Summer School. It’s a fantastic way to see what Cornhill entails. All sorts of people come to the Cornhill Summer School: students, workers, people who have retired; those who want a taster of Cornhill; people taking a week out of their normal lives to be equipped, encouraged, and refreshed in their service of the Lord. It is for people who are, or hope to be, in any kind of Bible teaching ministry in a local church, and provides an opportunity to work through some of the important principles of handling the Bible faithfully with the aim of teaching Christ with integrity.

The week – 1st to 5th July 2024 – is taught by the Cornhill teaching staff at our offices in central London.

  • The mornings will be given to interactive lectures. The focus is on biblical exposition, and we will cover approximately three Bible books in some depth throughout the course of the week.
  • In the afternoon there will be workshop groups where you’ll have the opportunity to give a short talk and receive some feedback.
  • There will also be some lectures throughout the week on how to write a Bible talk, and Christian Ministry.

Each day will run from 9.00am to 4.30pm. Refreshments will be provided each day, but please bring lunch or buy locally. Please note that this is a non-residential conference.

More specific details, including how to prepare for the workshop groups, will be given to delegates a couple of weeks before the Summer School begins.

This is a rich immersion into the kind of training offered at Cornhill, all squidged into a busy five days! And all for just £160.
